Do you want experience in the arts or just a chance to meet new friends and neighbors? Art on Alberta is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote the Alberta Art District’s distinct cultural identity through art and educational activities. We have been fostering the artistic spirit of NE Alberta Street for the past decade.
We are currently seeking volunteers who are reliable, professional, positive and work well with a team.
We need YOU to help make Art Hop 2010 a success. If you want to have a great time at Art Hop while helping make it a fun day for others, come out and volunteer with us. Put on your craziest hat, wackiest costume, loudest pair of pants or favorite pair of jeans and be a part of our Art Hop Volunteer team. Read on to learn more about the many ways you can help
Art Hop Volunteers
We are looking forward to having our volunteers dress up and come out during this once-a-year event and help
with general operations such as photographers, setup/breakdown/monitoring of the kids zone, information booth
and stages. Here are a few volunteer opportunities available during the event:

Art Hoppers
Like to dress like a bunny rabbit? Have a knack for rallying crowds? At the 11th Annual Art Hop, we want to play
on the theme of HOP by organizing a festival-wide group hop on the hour, every hour of Art Hop 2010. We need
volunteers to help us execute this task of getting 20,000 people to play along.
Mural Team Volunteers at Art Hop
We are organizing a mural volunteer team for Art Hop 2010. Muralists Rodolfo Serna and Esteban Camacho will be
organizing projects to be painted by area youth groups and the attending public during our annual Art Hop event
on May 15, 2010. As one of the Hop’s main attractions, murals will be painted that day at a few locations along
NE Alberta Street. We need a team of volunteers who can help us gather paint for the muralists before the event,
prepare surfaces, and assist the muralists during the day of Art Hop 2010.
